About the role:
We are an upcoming stealth startup backed by a leading venture capital firm in the Middle East. Our vision is to revolutionize the online marketplace industry by creating a dynamic and innovative platform which will be the first of its category in the Middle East which facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers in a seamless and efficient manner.
The platform will leverage Blockchain technology and other key functions to offer a unique product to its customers.
As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a skilled and experienced HRBP to join our team and drive the enhancement and growth of our HR initiatives.
As the HRBP, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the HR strategy and recruitment for our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end HR processes, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their department's needs and develop HR strategies that align with the company's goals.
Act as a strategic partner by providing HR expertise and guidance to department heads on various HR matters.
Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, interviewing, and making recommendations for hiring decisions.
Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance management, including feedback, goal setting, and development plans.
Act as a mediator in resolving employee relations issues, conducting investigations when necessary and recommending appropriate solutions.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, and handle any related documentation.
Develop company wide Job family matrix, leveling and compensation for all functions.
Create and lead company wide employee internal training and resource management.
Drive overall talent planning and annual review process company wide.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a Business Partner or Talent Acquistions.
Prior experience as HRBP for a global talent base with multiple employees from different countries and in remote locations
Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and confidentiality.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English and Chinese is highly preferred.
