Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, acting as their primary point of contact for API-related inquiries and support. 2. Provide guidance and support on API integration, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing usage. Support API clients in alignment with business objectives. 3. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications. 4. Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to ensure they are knowledgeable about API functionalities and best practices. 5. Monitor API performance and usage metrics, making recommendations for improvements. 6. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to APIs. 7. Manage the entire API lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation. 8. Be able to troubleshoot complex application and technical problems independently 9. Escalate and follow-up on permanent fix for development related issues Ensure effective and timely resolution to business 10. Document procedures, best practices and troubleshooting FAQs Shift duty, need to work across weekends/weeknights/holidays on a rotation basis­­­ Qualifications/Skills: 1. University degree in computer science / information technology or equivalent field of study 2. 5- 8 years’ experience in API Support or development in a reputable bank or financial institution 3. Proven experience in client relationship management, preferably within the tech or financial services sectors. 4. Strong understanding of API security protocols and standards (e.g., FIX, Web socket,REST, OAuth). 5. Basic technical background and experience in performing/managing API Client support 6. Basic knowledge on using AI tools for automation or workflow enhancement 7. Self-motivated and ability work with minimal supervision 8. Well-versed in current technological trends ideally in the area of cloud/container based microservices, digital asset and Web3 technologies 9. Excellent communication and client service skills and mentality 10. Fluent and proficiency in written/spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin), with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients.
