Reporting to: Group HR Director
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive HR Business Partner to bridge HR functions and local business teams in Middle East Region. You’ll align HR strategies with on-the-ground business goals, partnering with managers and employees to deliver tailored HR solutions. Your role will be critical in nurturing a thriving workplace culture while ensuring full compliance with local regulations, driving organizational effectiveness across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Onboarding
Partner with department heads to map staffing needs and design targeted recruitment plans.
Manage the entire hiring cycle: from drafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and finalizing hires. Oversee onboarding programs to integrate new employees seamlessly, including orientation to company culture, policies, and role-specific training, ensuring a positive first experience.
2. Compensation, Benefits and Attendance Management
Collaborate with global compensation supplier to adapt regional salary structures and benefits packages to local market standards and legal requirements. Administer payroll support, including verifying timesheets, managing attendance records, and addressing discrepancies.
Advise managers on salary adjustments, bonus allocations, and benefits enrollment, ensuring transparency and consistency.
3. Employee Relations and HR Compliance
Cultivate trust with employees at all levels, serving as a go-to resource for inquiries, concerns, or conflicts. Resolve workplace issues—from minor disputes to complex grievances—with fairness and discretion. Monitor compliance with local labor laws, updating internal policies to align with regulatory changes. Conduct regular audits of HR practices (e.g., contracts, workplace safety) to mitigate legal risks and uphold ethical standards.
4. Performance Management
Guide managers in setting clear KPIs, conducting regular feedback sessions, and executing annual performance reviews. Address underperformance proactively, developing improvement plans in collaboration with relevant teams.
5. Visa and Administrative Management
Manage visa, work permit, and residency processes for expatriate employees and local hires requiring international documentation. Coordinate with legal partners and government agencies to ensure timely approvals. Oversee HR administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate employee records, updating HR systems, and preparing reports for regional and global leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
• 5 years of progressive HR experience or more, ideally within a multinational organization.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end HR functions, with hands-on experience in recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and talent development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE and other Middle East country labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance frameworks.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is required.
