Ourvision is to revolutionize the online marketplace industry by creating a dynamic and innovative platformwhich will be the first of its category in the Middle East which facilitates transactions between buyersand sellers in a seamless and efficient manner. The platform will leverage Blockchain technology and other key functions to offer a unique product to its customers. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Lead to join our team and drive the development and growth of our online marketplace. As the Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the operational strategy for our online marketplace. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational process, from planning to execution and beyond. Leveraging your previous experience in operating online marketplaces, you will guide the team to deliver a world-class platform that meets the needs of both buyers and sellers while ensuring a superior user experience. Key Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with the executive team to define the operational vision, strategy, and roadmap for the online marketplace. ● Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape. ● Translate the operational strategy into actionable plans by defining operational requirements,features, and user stories. ● Prioritize and manage the operational backlog based on business objectives, user feedback, and market dynamics. ● Work closely with engineering, product, marketing, and design teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the operational roadmap. ● Develop a deep understanding of user needs and pain points. ● Conduct user research, data analysis, gather insights and drive data-informed operational decisions. ● Continuously monitor user feedback and iterate on operational features to enhance user satisfaction. ● Oversee the entire operational lifecycle, from concept to release. Define and track key operational metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. ● Communicate operational updates, progress, and timelines to stakeholders, including the executive team, investors, and external partners. ● Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the online market place industry. Leverage your expertise to identify new opportunities, anticipate market shifts, and driveoperational innovation. Qualifications and Skills: ● Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. ● Proven experience (5+ years) as an Operations Lead or similar role, specifically in operating and scaling online marketplaces. ● Strong understanding of the online marketplace ecosystem, including user behavior, monetization models, and marketplace dynamics. ● Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies that drive user growth and engagement. ● Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineering, product, marketing, and design departments. ● Proficiency in agile methodologies, operational management tools, and project management practices. ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. ● Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ● Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
