Our vision is to revolutionize the online marketplace industry by creating a dynamic and innovative platform which will be the first of its category in the Middle East which facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers in a seamless and efficient manner. The platform will leverage Blockchain technology and other key functions to offer a unique product to its customers. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Lead to join our team and drive the development and growth of our online marketplace. As the Product Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the product strategy for our online marketplace. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch and beyond. Leveraging your previous experience in building online marketplaces, you will guide the team to deliver a world-class platform that meets the needs of both buyers and sellers while ensuring a superior user experience. Key Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with the executive team to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the online marketplace. ● Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape. ● Translate the product strategy into actionable plans by define product requirements, features, and user stories. ● Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business objectives, user feedback, and market dynamics. ● Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product roadmap. ● Develop a deep understanding of user needs and pain points. ● Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and drive datainformed product decisions. ● Continuously monitor user feedback and iterate on product features to enhance user satisfaction. ● Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to release. Define and track key product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. ● Communicate product updates, progress, and timelines to stakeholders, including the executive team, investors, and external partners. ● Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the online marketplace industry. Leverage your expertise to identify new opportunities, anticipate market shifts, and drive product innovation. Qualifications and Skills: ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. ● Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Lead or similar role, specifically in building and scaling online marketplaces. ● Understanding of blockchain and its applications is a plus. ● Strong understanding of the online marketplace ecosystem, including user behavior, monetization models, and marketplace dynamics. ● Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive user growth and engagement. ● Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and operations departments. ● Proficiency in agile methodologies, product management tools, and project management practices. ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. ● Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ● Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
